After studying shoemaking in Naples for a brief period, he moved to the United States in 1914, where he worked at a boot factory in Boston. The first fragrance, Salvatore Ferragamo for women, was launched in 1998. In 2001, Ferragamo Parfums was established, which releases fragrances under the Ferragamo and Incanto names.
